Lauren Reed will be playing for UC Davis in the fall. While considering other offers, Davis was chosen for sentimental reasons as much as any other - Davis was Reed's favorite childhood team. Lauren transferred to 951 Elite her senior year with hopes of receiving the scholarship that had thus far eluded her. Now, she will be "living the dream" as middle blocker for the Aggies. Lauren also played for Redlands High School and led the Citrus Belt League in blocking. She hit for an impressive .46, helping her team to a 12-2 league record. |
