Alexis Forsythe

18-JD Smack's Alexis Forsythe is finishing off her Senior year at Elsinore high school before heading to Pac-10 volleyball at Oregon State. She will play for former U.S. Olympic women's head coach Taras Liskevych, who was impressed with Alexis' blocking ability and her ability to hit in the front court. "She's a person who is really quick for her height, and we feel that she definitely will enhance our play at the net," he quoted in an article released by OSU this past November. Alexis will be the second 951 Elite product to sign with Oregon State. Bree Knitter (2006) will be a Junior this coming season. Look for Alexis to be one of the dominant players in the 18 and under division this year. (1/08) read more
