kaycee gow commits to boise State
Kaycee Gow (18-DJ Smack) will soon be a Bronco. An extremely athletic middle with a quick swing and high, powerful contact, Kaycee will play for Robin Davis, former coach for Notre Dame, Northern Arizona and Biola. Joining Boise State in 2006, Davis posted the largest win increase for a first-year coach in Bronco history and looks to to improve this mark with the addition of Kaycee. Speaking of moving up in the world, Kaycee is the fourth 951 Elite player to commit to a school in the Pacific Northwest this year. Add to this the growing number of players heading to a rival school in one of these conferences and we can see that it is going to be an exciting season this coming fall with familiar faces facing friends across the net. Case in point- consider Kaycee and Denise (Gonzaga) pictured below. |

Taylor Krenwinkel commits to Sonoma State
Taylor Krenwinkel (18-DJ Smack) took just one day after her official visit to Sonoma State to decide that it was the place for her. "It's a perfect fit," she said. "Why think about any place else when I know that this is where I want to be?" The Seawolves play in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), giving Taylor the opportunity to regularly play Southern California teams where family and friends will be able to support her. Just thirty miles from San Francisco and a twenty minute drive from the Napa Valley, Sonoma State offers more than just a good school and a good volleyball program. It is rich in art and culture, and will soon be the home of one of our own 951 Elite! Congratulations Taylor! |
